What are the withdrawal Symptoms

I am now on day 10. I am on Champix. I have found that I am having a lot of trouble sleeping, terrible leg and arm cramps (which I do get every now and then but now find I am getting them every night and they are worse) and having to get up during the night to go the loo. Are these all withdrawal symptoms?

Hey poppy, that is withdrawl symptoms indeed, its now 3 weeks today for me and Im still getting loads of wierd dreams and cramps in my neck.

Im up at least once a night now (was 3 or 4 before) and Im not one for getting up in the night for a pee.

It will be worth it, everybody says so

Hiya poppy1975 and welcome to our lovely community. As you can see, if you have any problems you can come on here and get answers to your questions from people who know cos we've all been there. If you look over some of the old blogs and questions you'll see a huge array of symptoms and problems with quitting. There seems to be quite a few who are using Champix at the moment so I'm sure they'll be on here to give you more advice before too long.

Well done on getting to day 10 and I'm sure that if you come on here and join in the daily chat you will be much more likely to succeed with your quit.

Good luck and keep strong, Andi :)

Hi ya Poppy, a big welcome to this lovely and friendly site :)

Day 10 thats just great :) I'm on day 7 of my quit using champix :) I think I must be very lucky, because i dont seem to get the side affects like some of you do, I just feel tiered all the time at the moment and have to kick my erm behind to get me going :o if you see what I mean :) Different people have different problems with quitting smoking, but all say it gets easier, and is worth it in the end :) :)

Stay strong Poppy,

Pete :)
