Inhalator usage.

I am using the inhalator nrt. I have found it very good. The other day i did use it and it tasted pretty strong. Does anyone know is this because my taste buds have changed or perhaps i have used it for too long . I only use 1 cartridge a day , but it did make me feel sickly. Or perhaps it was me having an off day.

Hey Jillygirl,

Remember that the folks who make cigarettes add in all those lovely extra toxic chemicals (and other ingredients - such as cocoa, to make cigarettes more palatable to the smoker) so this will have affected your tastebuds.

You are right in thinking that your tastebuds have improved and so when you use the inhalator it may taste a bit different to you.

Don't worry about using the inhalator too much, as it's surely going to be a lot safer than if you smoked. When used as stated, you would use it for up to 8 weeks and then reduce gradually over 4 weeks.

Using the 10mg cratridges, it is recommended to use between 6-12 cartridges daily.

Using the 15mg cartridges, it is recommended to use between 3-6 cartridges daily.

So, using one cartridge a day is fine, as long as you are getting something from it as and when you need it. Just make sure you are using it properly and not inhaling on it.

Hi Jillygirl. I'm using inhalators as well, and find they work really well. Sometimes they do taste stronger than other times, I wonder whether they taste stronger when you leave a longer gap between use? One thing I have learned is that they release more nicotine when warm (used one I'd left in the car on a hot day for an hour and it gave me a right blast!) than when cold.

Whatever, anything is better than going back to the fags x
