I’m 4 weeks smoke free I have my mums anniversary tomorrow I have had a really tough week with grief and have had more cravings than usual. I used smoking to cope during difficult times in my life. Is this normal and is there any advise you could give me. I keep wanting to smoke thinking it will help although i know it will not. I won’t smoke I’m just having a tough week .

Hi Hopesanddreamss This is normal especially if your feeling how you are the first thing you go for is a smoke things will pass especially the urge to smoke and look how far you come your doing amazing🤩 when you get a craving do something to take your mind from it go for walk dance do abit put of cleaning I found a pen in my mouth useful as I was a heavy smoker and smoked more when I was worried or anxious about something it helped having something hand to mouth . . have a look at previous posts 😊 Your doing great and this will pass you’ve got this 😊💪 sending a virtual hug 🥰 I hope you feel better soon xxxxx
