Hi Everybody! Just dropping in to say I'm 12 days 5 hours tobacco free cold turkey. A smoking friend popped over today. I said, you can smoke outside, it won't bother me & sat with her on my balcony; the balcony I avoided as that where I smoked. I do something different & maybe some of you have too? I have plastic straws cut to the length of the cigarettes I used to smoke & pretend I'm smoking - I inhale through the straw, hold it & then blow it out. All I'm doing is inhaling/exhaling air. For me, it really helps & is 2-fold; staying quit & binge eating in place of. The admins here are the best! I tried 2 other online places briefly before finding this one & bar none, this is the best.

Hi PerryTorre, 12 days and counting that is fantastic. I love the way you have quit cold turkey and using the straw method. So glad its working for you. Just dont get too complacent as Mr Nic loves to take us all by surprise. I dont think he will beat you as you have the right mindset. I will go and sort out your badge now. Soon be a 2 week one. Thank you jillygirl. This was my 1st time around a smoking friend since 2nd quit and it didn't bother me. Didn't know abt the straw method; thought i came up with something new! lol

Well done! I have yet to spend time in the company of a smoker as most of my friends don’t smoke.
I use the inhalator the same way as you are using straws, I don’t even have a nicotine cartridge thingy in it but just having it in my hand helps so much.
