Wow 24 days of STOPTOBER, by now you should be feeling better all round, your car is cleaner, your clothes and hair no long have that awful, stale ashtray pong and I expect that by now you have more cash to treat yourself with.

What do you fancy splashing out on? I can still remember calculating how much a new pair of shoes cost in terms of cigarettes. A new sofa cover set me back about 7 packets. They still cost less here in Italy, although there’s a plan to put the price up to equal France’s price. This means an increase of nearly 100%. Depending on the brand, of course.

Now that we’ve managed 24 days, why not take a moment, sit down and write down the advantages of being smoke free. You’ll never regret your decision.
