Quit preparation

Looking back and thinking that there's definately a mentality to putting down the cigs.

It's when your inner monologue decides it's time and it's different to the usual "I should probably quit" stuff.

For me, it was the point where I mentally associated the taste of cigarettes with the smell of car exhaust fumes.

Made dropping fags for a vape very, very easy. 100% aware that the vape also needs to be quitted, but if I end up using it for longer, I'm more comfortable with that than any more cigs.

Definitely good to have a mind set - that is how I prepared myself and it is still working! Every day for couple of weeks whilst cutting down the number of smokes before quit I told myself - I stink - it’s burning money - it’s killing me breathing this in - another thought was if a house was on fire, would I step in to inhale the smoke? I don’t think so! 😉 keep being strong 👌🙌

Well done EC. It seems to me that you've got the situation sussed out. Carry on doing what you're doing, you're doing really well.👍💪xx
