I have smoked for many years and even lost my dad to Cancer.. so you would wonder why I didn't stop.. guess I had to hit rock bottom well I did.. I'm on oxygen.. the doctors say I have the lungs of a 84 yr.old..but this last trip to doctors where I have quit my lungs are doing better.. it's not easy but I thank God each day I open my eyes and I try to stay positive..😁😎..it ain't easy being me..lol

Hi 103063,please don't beat yourself up about having smoked. With hindsight none of us would have gone there but there it is we've done it. After smoking for so long(I smoked 2+ packets a day for 40+ years) we have to save the savable. You have your lil boy to look after and I'm sure that now you have quit, you will be strong enough to do so. Try to look forwards hun you are still young.

We've all been there bud. When you've managed to quit and stay quit, you wonder why you didn't stop ages ago.

Just remember life doesn't work like that and where you are today helps shape tomorrow.

Owning and accepting that smoking was a mistake and should have no part in your tomorrow can only be beneficial to you.
