Zaza we all could slip at any given time..the trick is to stop again and again if need be.. you can do this we all can.. that is why we have this group we are not here to judge but to listen and build each other up..☺️ you got this..
Thank you, I'm gutted. Because I really thought I had it sorted in my head this time, I know it's an excuse, but the pain and the fact that I still had cigs in the house has been my downfall
If you have a few cigarettes left, instead of smoking them, why not take your pain and anger out on them. Get a pain crush a cigarette. Try and take delight in doing so.
I hope your pain soon goes.
Just keep on trying you have never failed whilst your still trying.
Hi Zaza, sorry to hear about your Op, and the pain your going through, so much encouragement already.... but think on, your pain will still be there after the cigarettes are smoked..... come here whenever you can, read our posts of encouragement time and again, you are stronger than you think!
The pain in your arm will eventually go, and the cigarettes will be gone before that...... stay strong, and think only of a healthier lifestyle, and all of the money you will save for a special treat for yourself.
BE KIND TO YOURSELF! no joke you are in pain...different priorities.RESTART quitting when ready. For now concentrate more on what's helping, even if the smoke...ONCE YOU FEEL BETTER and ready, PACE YOURSELF WELL AND REWARD YOURSELF for small achievements...It is all about that... Good luck and keep us posted. AND NO GUILT.
