I have been smoke free for 2 years now. I look back and think why didnt i quit it sooner !?
To everyone who is having a hard time with the withdrawals, "hang in there". It definitely gets easier. First few months are hard and thats when you have to stay very determined. Its gradually gets easier and you wont even miss it.
I used to ask people to not smoke around me because i was afraid id get tempted again. But now, it doesnt bother me.
My lips and gums are pinkier, teeth whiter and hair shinier. My skin feels good too. I sleep better than before and my appetite has improved. I gained weight for a while after quitting but gradually my body came to my normal weight.
Quitting smoking has so many benefits ! I also noticed how it affects your mental and psychological health. It makes you more resilient because if you love yourself enough to give up an addiction, you can do and achieve anything ! So congratulations to all the quitters.
Healthunlocked had been so helpful to me. I could have never done it if it werent for this page. Thank you so much !!
