Hello everyone. I'm 3 months smoke free. On occasions it feels like ice cold air when I breath. Has anyone else experienced this?

My guess, could be due to respiratory tract infection. Best if you consult a doctor.

Hi Percy, I think when we smoked we didn’t actually breathe properly. We need to learn how to. There’s great breathing techniques under pinned posts. Takes a bit of practice but it’s well worth it👍🏼 You’re lungs are repairing so please be patient with yourself. Your tests were all clear so that’s a good sign. As you had pneumonia 3 months ago it may take a bit of time but you’re doing so well. Keep on keeping on🚭✅xx

Thank you. I looked up the breathing exercises the other day and have started to use them. They really do help. It's so weird quitting, I've felt all sorts of odd sensations and emotions recently some of them pretty scary and my husband has gone through hell with my mood swings.

Hi Percy,I totally agree with Briarwood👏👍,as all your tests came back clear, continue with the breathing exercises. It takes time and patience to quit. Your hubby deserves a medal!!🥇

Just take it a day at a time,be kind to yourself (and hubby) and patient with your body,it's going through a lot of major changes. You'e so got this🚭💖😋.XXX

We used smoking to deal with all our emotions and now we can’t hide behind the the smoke, we actually have to feel them which is quite strange alright🤔 Treat hubby to a nice meal and you won’t need to rush it to light up afterwards👍 It’s difficult for others to understand the mood swings but it’s all quite normal so don’t worry😀xx
