Have been off the ciggie for 5months now quit last year went back on for two months then developed bronchitis so quit then cold turkey. Last night I had the weirdest dream of my former neighbour and we were enjoying a ciggie together oh boy did I enjoy that !!! Still crave a ciggie but have gone on to the sweets.

Anyone else experience this.

Hi Wd41son, What can I say, welcome back. You've managed a clean 5 months.

Dreaming about smoking is quite common, it's just old nic trying to tempt you. He makes you remember the nice things!! He didn't make you remember bronchitis did he? Well done for starting again. Stay close to this site. Good luck with your quit. 🚭🍀😍xx

No ciggy dreams, but sure am having the wildest most vivid dreams since I quit. It is almost like watching TV, the plots are that involved! It is crazy!

Yes like the girls have said dreaming of smoking is very common.

I think its implanted in our brains.

my dad bless him gave up smoking when he was 30. He died at the age of 72 in the last week before he passed away he fell asleep and said he had been dreaming he was smoking. Thats 42 years later.

:) xx

I did experience this about the time you are now, I am now two years and it does fade and it goes - you will have niggles but they last two minutes max. Hang In there it is better to be smoke free as you know. Take care

Hi new quit date was 4th June. X

Yes, both vivid and smoking dreams are fairly common. During my quit time, I've had both although vivid dreams have been subsided. On the other hand, smoking dreams go on and I had one just yesterday.

Have a good evening!
