Nearly 2 months is very impressive, I'm a fair bit behind but you're so right, everyone here inspires each other! πŸ˜€

That’s great! I’m not missing smoking but I won’t lie and say I never get cravings grrrr

When I do, I remind myself how damaging cigarettes are and my fear of copd and throat cancer. Life’s hard enough without being disabled by smoking

We can do this!!!!

I see a lot of commercials these days too that make me glad I quit, for sure!

I was out of town this weekend and we had fire pits going at night, waking up with just that smoke inhalation was enough for me! Imagine if we had been smoking on top of the fire pit. Ha

So glad to be free!

But yes, it’s still hard at times!

Thanks guys for the support, I can't actually remember the date, I had really bad flu, which turned to chest infection at the end of FEB. I didn't set a date, I went out to the Doc's which was up a flight of stairs , I couldn't get my breath... it was ridiculious . Never smoked again. Don't get me wrong , still have cravings.

Welcome Chriso,☺ many congratulations on 2 months smoke free! Great work. There's nothing like a quick chest infection to start a quit. My husband quit after illness and a copd diagnosis and I felt obliged to join him. Haven't looked back but still have strange symptoms.

Thank you. My gums bled for 12 weeks. I used corsodyl mouthwash. Mainly I complain about my hands.πŸ‘ They are hot and they seem to buzz whenever I hold cutlery or metal. It's really weird and annoying.. nobody else seems to have it.

My husband was lucky the results came back negative so I'm hoping we quit in time.⌚

Hi Chriso and welcome to our community...... you have joined a community where we hopefully become supportive friends but sadly may never meet...... if you need too, you can come on here to scream, shout, cry, moan, or whatever but mostly we like to laugh.

So if you have a joke or a funny or enjoyable incident , then share it with your new found friends..... we truly are here to support you if need be.

So good luck on your quit journey and hoping you get to see the light at the end of the tunnel. πŸ‘πŸ˜€

I am curious about your microshock sensation with metals.

Many changes could affect this, shoes, slippers, carpets, hair style/products, even a new car. Have you tried earthing yourself, so if this makes a difference? Modern radiators are earthed: google.co.uk/search?q=how+t...

Ok, thank you. I'm intrigued and off to do some research. Do I need earthing?? Hands still hot and buzzy so going to check it out.πŸ”₯πŸ‘πŸ’₯
