Hi Topgear, I figure you are still going through the lung cleaning process. Not sure what you are like on the exercising front but I would do exercises that get that heart pumping and really open them lungs up to help with healing and cleaning. It's also possible that if you are worrying or anxious your SOB could be related to that too. Try the exercises and if you don't see any improvements then maybe pop to the Dr so he can reassure you that health wise you are fine xx
Hi modes.had lung test .ecg all good how long does it take for lung clearing process please
Apparently it normally improves between 3 and 9 months but for some it can go for 12 months. Getting those lungs opened up will speed things along. I have the same issue but have started to see some improvement since I started to ramp up the exercises coupled with deep breathing exercise too xx
Hi, I have quit on September 11th. I am still going through the lung process Cleaning. Breathing got better, but still not back to normal. I have had no idea that I will have to learn how to breath again after quitting
I have not used patches and ecigs. One of the reasons is that I have heard that it feels like you start from the beginning after you quit patches and ecigs. How long ago did you quit that?
That’s awesome!
Hey Topgear, hang on in there. Try to stay smoke free couple of more moths, so you could see if you gone feel better eventually or what.
I was quitting on 3th Aug 2017 and feel like c#ap too. Can't smell, food tastes bad, serious depression, lack of inspiration and energy, and my lungs just started to clean up, so I'm coughing, etc. But, I'll go on with this quitting because breathing smoke doesn't make any sense either. All the best to you and keep your course, I think it will pay off.
