I'm delighted your back on it and you've got some help with NRT. Sounds like your well prepared π With the patches make sure you carry a spare and alternate the side of body and use a different location each timeπ Also try taking it off 30 mins before bed as this could help reduce the weird dreams π

Hi ya Jan, its lovely to have you back with us and am sooo happy you are going to go for it again
I see your using the patches and mouth spray to which both are excellent if used rite Our lovely Droopy has given you some great advice about the patches
Mouth spray --- this is something else if you spray it strait into your mouth, you may get hiccups Try using one finger to sort of pull your cheek out soooo, you can spray it onto the inside of your cheek
If you still get hiccups, then try spraying it onto the back of your hand and just lick it off oooooor, spray it onto a clean finger and just dab it onto your upper gum this way it will last longer but please dont rub it in, cos this could give you a burning feeling
Always shake it before you use it and perhaps give it a day or so to get used to it, cos it can take a bit of time for your body to get used to it
Good luck on day one Jan and if ya need any help, you just come a shouting please and we will try to help you
Hi Jan, you are making a life saving decision and I am proud of you. I too, had some practice runs at quitting but I like you am determined to quit this time. Just remember the battle is one day at the time and we are here for you every step of the way. Keep this site close.

Hello Jan,your going to be fine--Keep that determination--you must be somewhat familiar with the routine and feelings when you quit--Just be fearless and make up your mind im not going to try again im going to make it this time--It is tough but you are tougher--It is a rough drug--but it is your enemy and wants to harm you--so do battle and win this time--and we will all rejoice with you and support you on your journey--Love,MmeT
Best decision ever - now 9 months smoke free and no regrets at all. Huge relief to be free from smoking, healthier, richer and I don't smell any more! Biggest plus is no more bloody guilt about what I am doing to myself. Both of my parents died of lung cancer and still I smoked - crazy eh! Not any more - I used the NHS support and had Champix - wierd side effects but bloody worked - really helped me to give up - not plain sailing but a whole lot easier than when I've tried before. Wishing you loads of luck and use this site for support because there are some amazing people here who are complete strangers but care enough to want you to stop smoking which is pretty bloody cool. Hang on in there.. Look at that pic you've chosen - you want to be flying free in the fresh clean air..stay focused..you can do it. X
Well day 1 is still looming ..i could list a million excuses ..but thats all they would be. However i have more than halved my daily amount and am looking at why and when i grab one (yes should have done it sooner ) ..if i'm honest ,I feel so much better when I dont indulge . I will be day oneing I just needed to do this my way ..so bear with me ...and thank you all so much for your support..yes I did stay away because i felt embarrassed, but i'm not now ..i'm just grateful to you all ..thank you xx
You can do it Jan! Good luck and I hope you find a way that suits you. xx
