Im not going to write a long post. but as you can see from the title i wasn't strong enough. On Wednesday for some unknown reason i picked one up and smoked it just because they were there. NO EXCUSE. I am not going to say i only had the one as we all know its never just one. I am starting again from scratch tomorrow im so gutted and try and find another way although i have tried everything. i knew 6 weeks would get me and i let it, Im not sure i will post again as obviously nothing works for me but i just wanted to say thank you you have been amazing and im just sorry i cannot seem to get to grips with this disgusting habit,

Ah J don't be hard on yourself, these things happen but you're going for it again and that's great 👍

I don't know if you've read Allen Carr "the Easyway to stop smoking" you can find it free online to download. It really helped me and lots of others to gain a perspective on smoking and quitting.

Good luck for tomorrow, just think of last time as a trial run, this time it's the real deal 🍀🍀🍀👍😊

I had the same problem I didnt make it past 3 months but for different reasons, I just wasnt ready, you have to be mentally, physically and emotionally ready. ex diets if you are not 100% committed what happens you end up eating more and keep yoyoing. Or a relationship its comfortable and familiar and then one day a light bulb goes off and you like what the frig am I doing and an inner strength takes over you even though you know its going to hurt and suck you've had enough.

You can aid your nicotine content by adding those filter thingys on your cig which take out alot of tar and nicotine, you can also vape with nicotine and slowly lower your levels until your vaping but hardly no nicotone. Try 1 cig with a filter or you can also put little pin pricks in the actual cig not the filter and you will get less nicotine, your next ciggie use the vape. Try 1 cig to vapes, then 1 cig to three vapes and so on.

I know I will try again but right now I have too much going on with health issues and stress not the right time, but I will know when Im strong enough and so will you. Dont say I only made 6 weeks, say hell ya I made it 6 weeks and my next goal will to pass that mark. None of us started piced up a cig and got addicted so why think quitting would be the same. good luck and even if you arent ready to quit stay on the site listen to others because you will get strength from these wonderful people, and when you are ready they will pick you up and dust you off never fear they wont be here.
