Starting Over Again

I was not on here for a while but I started smoking again.  I was experiencing some pains that would not go away and eventually had to have major surgery.  I am recuperating from the surgery and likewise trying to remain smoke free.  I have not smoked for about 6 weeks now.  I had a lot of success when I was first on here and hope to remain smoke free this time also remaining an active member to help others.

I hope you're making a good recovery from your surgery and you will heal much better without smoking. You are doing the very best thing for your health. I think I remember you live on the beach with your wife and children. Sounds fantastic😎

Sorry you have had an op but like briar says, quitting will help you recover quickly 😊

you obviously want to quit as you have got back on it, which is fantastic. Maybe write down why you went back on them (didn't know if it was op related) and how they made you feel once you had that first one, also the impact to your life and that of your family. Maybe that will help you this time😊 

I'm a great one for saving the cig money and rewarding yourself, and it sounds like you could probably do with a treat 😊
