Hiya done smoking, yes unfortunately it's called quitters flu and the cough is a sign that you're lungs are starting to heal. The good news is it'll pass so hang in there as sometimes it appears we get worse before we get better😩
Nearly a month quit is brilliant so keep reminding yourself how well you're doing while your body is going through huge changes. Keep up the good work👏🏼
Hi I've felt like in the past I had ongoing lingering colds when I was smoking. To be honest I have felt much better since quitting. I have felt a bit bunged up in my throat sometimes especially at bedtime like you need to cough but unproductive.
I'm sure it will pass soon.
😄
Hi donesmoking, wow can't wait to see ya new badge 😊😊😊🚭🚭🚭
Although you can get quitters flu, there is also a right old cold bug going about which lasts a couple of weeks and includes a dry sort of cough ..... Maybe you have a bit of both 🙁🙁 whichever, it will pass soon😊 Glad you have felt better though so far during your quit 😊😊😊👍👍👍👍
It will get better. Plus... I had a nasty virus a few weeks ago and I got over it much quicker than I would have done had I still been smoking. The benefits far outweigh starting again. Keep going - we're all here for you x
