Ugh
Hello Parimoni, and welcome to quit support. You say your on nicotine patches, When did you first decide to quit , It may be you are expecting too much from the patch. Ask yourself is it the smoking your missing, or is it the actual act of hand to mouth part your missing. It may be a case of you need some other form of replacement besides the patches. Are you quitting on your own or with the help of a cessation clinic. Even your local pharmacy may be running a smoking cessation . Please dont be too impatient as it takes your body time to get adjusted. It is worth it in the end believe me.
If you give enough details about how long you have smoked, how many per day, etc., Emjay our advisor will be able to give you more expert advice.
P.S. you can always send details by private messaging if you prefer.
Hi Parimoni, welcome to quit support and our lovely Jilly has asked you a few questions to help with your quit
We are always happy to welcome new members and help with any problems you may have, as many members have used patches successfully x
Hi ya Parimoni and a big warm welcome to this lovely community
Our lovely Jillygirl has given you some great advice already
I've used patches myself and very good they are too but I also used the mouth spray for the real hard times
The patches will probably leave a red mark on your skin and it will itch but your body will soon get used to them
Parimoni, try to keep yourself busy doing something, take your mind off you know what you say your at home doing nothing Spring clean your house, get rid of any smells of smoke wash your clothes, clean your wardrobe out if it smells of smoke
Good luck Parimoni, we could give you more advice if you gave us more info eh
