Sinus trouble

Hi, hope everyone is having a good Christmas. Just wondering, has anyone else really struggled with sinus trouble since giving up? My sinuses seem to have been blocked for weeks now- sore cheeks, ear ache, tooth ache, especially on the right hand side. Anyone else any experience of this?

Hi Matlockmale, Sorry I can`t give you an answer regarding sinus problems. It sound to me you may have an infection. It may be worth seeing your G.P. I think you may be more aware of it since you quit, as your body does try to get rid of all the nasty poisons from smoking.

Perhaps some other members may be able to help you. :)

Breathe in the steam from a hot cup of water or a vaporizer can relax inflamed sinus cavities. An electrical heating pad put on a hot water bottle; or the inflamed area; hot, wet compresses may be soothing.

A guy prone to sinus ailments, especially one who is sensitive to allergy as well, should avoid cigarette smoke and other air contaminants.
