Yay, Christmas party time. Are we having mince pies and teas and coffees and ooooh definitely some Christmas cake.
That reminds me to all those out there suffering with sore teeth and gums, I had that problem this time last year and that was before I officially stopped smoking! The 'nice' dentist stripped all the old gums away from my teeth so I know exactly how you are feeling. Salt water mouth rinses have been advised by one member, it didn't help with mine but it can certainly do no harm and is at least worth a try. Ibuprofen and paracetamol (you can take both) do help with the burning sensation.
Hi had the same problem and been to smoking cessation today they say you can also suffer with ulcers of the mouth too for the first few weeks but it is the bodies way of getting rid of toxins, just so you don't worry if you get them
