Talk about wishing your life away. This time last week Frank was getting ready to go to hospital for biopsy of tumour in bladder and to have pubic catheter fitted, not sure how much he understood about it all. Surgery went well on Tuesday, Wednesday when i had promised he would be back to care home - transport did not turn up for him. Back and settled in at St. Pauls, he seems to have cleared another hurdle, speech therapist has deemed he can eat normal food and does not need thickener in his drinks. Communication not too bad - I am trying hard not to think is this another cruel blow before "the rug is pulled out from under us again" I WILL enjoy the relapse that seems to be happening!

Glad the surgery went well on Tuesday.
It is so hard to carry on but in a way we've just got to do it!
All the best for this week ahead, I know I'll be thinking of you when I'm helping with Dad and I'm sure others will too.
Keep Smiling!!xx
