Overwhelmed

My son , who’s 34 , is having his aortic valve replaced on Wednesday . It’s a 5 hour surgery but his conditioner went from severe to critical in a few weeks . I’m so relieved he has been called so soon from going on the list . We are just praying now that the ICU remains free as covid as cancelled so many of these surgeries. My younger son , who’s 30 ,was very ill with covid in September and we almost lost him thankfully he made a full recovery so I’m trying to count my blessings

I’m just about keeping it together but my symptoms are getting so much worse. Christmas was a nightmare as I took my mum out of her carehome for dinner and as she suffers from extreme anxiety she complained all day.

Anyway I just wanted to share with you all and ask for your prayers for my son on Wednesday 🙏🙏🙏

Prayers for you and your family members.

This time of year is so hard on a normal basis and you are handling much more than a normal holiday season.

Happy you reached out.

This silent enemy, covid, on top of your mum and sons…..it’s a lot and write whenever you can.

Good morning from NZ. I will pray for you and your family. Going through these hard times makes us all realise just how strong we actually are and I'm sure you will get through. The one big thing I have learnt looking after my PSP sufferer is that if you can throw enough love at a problem/situation it starts to diminish in every aspect. Refuse to get overwhelmed. Take care.
