Made the most of a sunny, though breezy afternoon and took Mum to Quarrybank Mill gardens near Manchester Airport. Though a lot of the site is very steep and not suitable for wheelchairs the upper garden is great, easily accessible, has a beautiful herbaceous border plus interesting vegetables - I had never seen pink runner beans before. Mum as ever just loved being in the fresh air.
