Taking a break from gardening.

This was taken in 2014 - So recent. Liz could walk with a little support then.

Lovely to have reminders of such happy moments!

A photo from happier times. Glad you are feeling better and out into the garden. I watched the first episode of Gardeners’ World 2018 season yesterday. It motivates me to take a stab at the yard.

Chuckles - Yes, it takes me a little to get going too.

So much was left undone at the end of last year.

Yes, GW is very motivating isn't it. I'll see if it can work its magic on me.

Lovely, happy photo of you both! Don't forget the smelly memories that go with the garden! Like thyme when it is rolled in!!! One of the first posts I remember reading from you!

Beautiful! What a lovely tribute to Liz, and you look just as I've imagined you! Funny how that happens..:-) I'm going to print some pix of hubby to have around the house. So many end up in the computer!

Thanks :)

It gave me a shock when I came across the photo. Its so easy to forget just how wonderful it was.

So I too thought - print some of these and put them around the house.

Hugs to both of you

Thanks Kevin, yes I’m fighting hard to get him home away from the nursing home as he seems to be deteriorating (from inactivity and unfamiliarity) there.

Nice to put faces to such a prolific and knowledgeable couple. Garden is too wet to go out at present. Hope I’ m able to get some done when it dries up! Still able to smile at present.

Very best wishes to you both. Hope the flu has been kicked into touch!

Hi Jayne

You know what - Liz still manages a smile. Hope you do too.

The flu is letting go slowly... But it does give me an excuse to put gardening off a little longer. ;)

Best to you

Kevin

Happy days in the garden, I miss sitting in the garden with Ben even last summer he didn't want to sit outside preferring his reclining chair. My favourite part of a summers day is around 5to 6pm when the sun has lost the intensity of its heat, glass of wine and a few nibbles just sitting until the sun disappears. Mmmmm lovely. Can't wait for the spring and summer when I can throw the doors to Bens room open as it goes out to the garden.

Love Kate. Xxx

Hi Kate

What a lovely picture.

I can almost feel and smell the warm breeze coming into his room.

You might remember we're terraced. I have kept back the wheel chair step climbing equipment so that I can bring Liz home and get her up into a covered area overlooking the garden. We are both waiting for the day.

Warm smiles

Kevin

What wonderful smiles. So nice to see. You have motivated me to print a few picture of Dan from a couple of years Ago. We are having an assessment done by VA (Veterans Administration) next week. I want them to see who Dan IS., not just the ravaging of PSP.
