Thanks Guys! I was going to ask if anyone had seen it. Can't really miss us, can you??? If it makes one of you go out and get the benefit of respite. That will be a brilliant outcome and tribute to Steve.

Lots of love

I found the link What a lovely picture. Today My act of random kindness was in honor of yourself and in memory of Steve. My call to a burnt out carer who lost her husband was just in time. Thanks to Steves memory I was able to give and get her support. She lives alone in very rural area and is very depressed. I am going to assist her with applications to senior lodges and residences in town. Thanks Anne for all you done to inspire me to keep going and help others. You two have not lost any wars. You are gifts that keeps on giving. Hugs

Heady, you may find it hard to believe, but I had just read your article when I had a visit from a nurse who had been contacted by the hospice . She told me that I am going to get care cover for B for five hours a week! I feel a bit guilty at leaving him for so long, but taking your advice, I will use it knowing that the break will be of benefit to both of us. Lovely photo, by the way. Love x

is it the one with the both of you on the cover and you in a polkadot sweater??

Yes, don't laugh! I normally live in striped tops, but decided to give Steve a break, from constantly teasing me. He still found something rude to say about this top, as well. That was a long time ago now!

Lots of love

Heady

I live in Los Angeles, California, USA. Is that magazine only available for UK residents? How would I get access? My 54 year old son was recently DX with PSP. Thank you!

The PSP Matters. Mag this. Month was so on point - well done Heady. I have been tiptoeing around respite for a few weeks now. Prev hubby has stayed an occ asional ( well 4 last year) weekends with family but that is now longer physically possible . So I propped up the magazine with breakfast this morning and hey presto my husband had a great idea!!!!! Clearly the seed has been planted and I can start exploring properly all options. Any suggestions welcomed

First try the hospice. Chris is allowed a week every 6 months.
