Mom and I sat on the stern of that ship and watched some of the most beautiful sunsets together last week. As we sat quietly, she looked at me and said, I just love this! I replied, God does good work doesn’t he? She smiled, and began to raise her hands from her chair quietly. I stood her up, and I said let’s give Him a standing ovation ... God has been good to us, and he gave me a Momma that is a gladiator!
Even through our darkest days, I am thankful to have these moments of thanksgiving.

I know He kept both my husband and I positive during those hard years and Colin had no fear of leaving me as he was sure of where he was going and knew I’d be OK until we met again.
Keep looking at those beautiful God given sights and may you both know His special peace and blessing during the hard times ahead.
