Today was my Moms third swim lesson! As a child , she almost drown thrusting her into a lifelong fear of water. Over the last year, I’ve been struggling with exercise options due to her balance and walking limitations. My first thought was swimming, but quickly realized that this was a major fear .... I did some research and found a coach that specializes in overcoming anxiety/fear of water! Today was her third lesson ... so far so good!

Brilliant! Our Neiro Physio always liked our choice of aquacize for G's exercise. She wont hurt herself if she "falls" And this way she is getting a psychological boost from mastering a new skill!✔️✔️✔️

My sweet Momma has had a fear of water since childhood. She needs physical activity, and walking is of course an issue —- so, I kept thinking swimming would be the best option .... so, I searched for a coach that specialized in anxiety/fear of water ... 2 birds with one stone! Overcome fear, and learn to swim! Her sense of achievement is through the roof! 😌

Good Morning Bazooka (love the name)

What a marvelous idea!

Sending you both hugs ... Granni B

Thank you! Pushing forward ... one day at a time ... I love connecting with all of you on here. I don’t so feel so alone anymore —- I have found myself sitting at the end of the day reading posts — I’ve gained so much knowledge from so many of you.

Much gratitude ...

God answered a prayer with this site

Excellent!!

Persevere, persevere and persevere.

Hugs and luck.
