Great party - But I got thrown out!

Lovely sunny day.

Liz home and a rare smile. She really likes the ponds :)

The water is a bit scummy still, but that will go as the ecosystem corrects it.

Liz is having a great time - she is smiling.

However she reminded me that it was a girlie do... So I've retreated. She always had girls only with these friends... So I don't mind... I dip in and out and its a lovely smiley do.

Sounds like a sight to behold... wish I was there. In any event, please let Liz know we care, and keep her in our thoughts constantly, along with yourself and many others. Save a small piece of cake; I am fading a bit.

Your certifiably insane bro,

Steve

Wonderful . Liz looks quite stylish in her sunglassses and hat. How great that she has good friends she enjoys being with. That’s the best medicine. I’m so happy it worked out well. I hope the save you some treats .

A host can never go to their own party. You are too busy working it. Glad Liz got home for the do, enjoyed it and smiled about it.

Give my love to Liz! As a female I am allowed to send her love and hugs too? She looks so happy in that photo. The ponds will make her feel at peace. Good weather this week too so her hat and sunglasses will get some wear?

I am delighted for you both that she is home for now. Don't worry about being kicked out... that would have happened anyway! 😂. Hope you save some cake for later and have good memories from today.

What a really lovely photo and a wonderful memory for you both after a particularly tough week. How fab it was a girls only party and Liz could maintain this as previously ( with a little help of course) Hope the cake was delicious and you were allowed some too!!

For me these rare moments when my loved one smiles and seems at peace with the world keep me going.

Wishing you both a week ahead of calm and maybe even more smiles.

Love

Tippy

Raised my glass to you both last night. Wish it had been Rioja! Can't make that here! Also had a rice pud as couldn't find a chocolate mousse. Glad you all had some fun, even if you were kicked out!

Thank you for the photo. Liz looks well/wonderful with the weight she has lost. I am so pleased. I think for all the guilt you have carried and all the complaints Liz expressed, you did well to have placed her away from home. She is getting good care......I fantasize from the photo.

Take lots of photos of celebrations and happy times. They will be a comfort.

Dear lovely man, what else did you expect when all the girls gathered, 'fraid not too much room for men at such events. Joking apart I am so pleased that it was such a successful day for you all, the smile from Liz is what helps to make your world go round and we all enjoy seeing her look so happy. Sorry I've not posted on your last few posts but took a very last minute decision to join my son and his family at a beautiful cottage on the Gower Peninsula. I am so glad I made the effort to take the train down there but wasn't so happy to be returning to an empty house. Love you're cascading ponds, running water is so lovely to listen to, very calming, my little pond is purely a wildlife pond so no sound of running water.

Sending you both a big hug.

Love Kate xxx

Thank you all for the lovely responses.

I went to see Liz in the home today, as I do everyday.

She spoke! She only managed a few words before her voice gave out. And, she emanated so much warmth and love.

Soon too tired she settled back and watched me whilst we held hands and I read to her.

What a turn around... Long may it last.

Meanwhile if I wasn't already married to her I think I would propose to her on the spot.

Thanks for being for there for us.

Warmly

Kevin

How you doing, Kevin?

Hi Andrea

Very happy right now... Liz has come back to me in her mind, so to speak.

Crazy busy and so getting up earlier to get things done. Right now I am two months behind with the garden and am working flat out to get the last of the sowing done before its too late.

Talking of which I need to go out and get some gardening done before its too hot.

I am concentrating on creating a way of living. Liz's illness forced early retirement and then there was the steep learning curve and emotional whirlwind of being a carer and coping. Followed by the Nursing Home stuff... So I am taking this good space as a time of allowing myself to adjust and find a life style which works for the new situation I find myself in, before the next big changes kick in.

How are you these days?

It's not been too long so I guess it's still tough.

Warmly

Kevin

Hey Kevin, well at least the window is still open so-to-speak, for your garden. I have a lovely line of Rose of Sharon Bushes. a couple of ppl I hired to trim and clean my yard whacked the stuffing or should I say blossoms right off the bushes! My fault though. I told them I wanted a bit taken of the top as the foliage was getting into the wires. Welp all I can say now is Why!!! why did I ask them to do that!!! so you can see, I am not too happy with my "gardening" but my son who worked in the field says that next years blossoms will be thicker than ever ......hmm we'll see! As far as anything else, well I haven't gotten my rhythm yet. I'm still just praying Lord send me.....I wonder if I mean it though.... sometimes its just hard to get out of the house ... oh well I do hope you have a lovely crop of whatever it is you sowed this year....Say hi to Liz

:)

Chuckles - I hate jobbing gardeners coming in... Hope they recover soon.

I a rubbish gardener, but I do it with enthusiasm! ;)

I do hope you find a path forwards. I takes time. Think about loosing an arm... takes a long time.

So please be kind to yourself. I'm waiting for that particular slipper t drop... It's like a guillotine prepped and ready... I dread it...

Hugs to you :)

Warmly

Kevin
