Made a memory

Yesterday here in the NW of Blighty was a beautiful warm sunny day, I went to Mum's as usual and she was having a good day, she had had her hair done, requested for her lippy and asked if we could go to the local park even though it means going over a rickety rackety bridge that shakes your bones to bits sat in a wheelchair, she did say she was glad she'd been to the loo before we left!

It was beautiful, it's a treelined grassy area with a river running through it that babbles away to itself, the trees are just beginning to change colour. We walked for a bit, then found a sunny seat and soaked up the sun rays, the feel of the air, the bird song, I found some beech nuts & conkers for Mum to feel, we were able to chat, we passed the time of day with dog walkers, some of whose charges came to say hello. It was an hour of peace with my real Mum, you could almost forget that PSP was there. It's a time to treasure.

Wonderful! You have inspired me to venture out today. I’ll try not to think of hubby in his chair but will instead focus on his smile. It’ll be worth it. Thank you!
