hello

i too get a lot of uti's but always take antibiotics and it goes away but i do know that a friend of mine who also suffrers with uti's was told by her dr that it is the residue from the last wee that does not get expelled properly that therefore creates the problem - so i think that you could give her cranberry juice but it wont cure it .. hope you manage to help her

Cranberry juice does help! And yogurt if she's on antibiotics, to combat the loss of beneficial bacterial. Very important: if she develops diarrhea later make sure she gets checked for c.diff., which often follows antibiotic treatment for UTI and can be fatal. (I lost someone to it.)
