No period for 11 weeks

Hi, my last period finished 10th Feb, I was in the mini pill Cerelle which I stopped on 21st Feb. I’ve had no bleeding whatsoever but have had cramps feeling like it may start but it hasn’t. I bled every four weeks on the pill even tho I didn’t stop for a break. I was on another mini pill straight after having my baby last year but it didn’t suit me.

I’ve tested four times all being negative. Has anyone had a similar experience after coming of the pill or has anyone been pregnant but test show negative? After stopping the pill last time I bleed straight away took six months to fall pregnant.

When on a mini-pill, you don't actually have proper periods, you have bleeds instead. Progesterone-only pills, like Cerelle, trick your body into thinking you are pregnant and shut your ovaries down so no egg is released. When you stop taking them, you often get a withdrawal bleed (also not a period), but it can take several months for your ovaries to start releasing eggs again. Mine took about 7 weeks, but I've read posts from people who took 7+ months to start having periods again, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
