Internal piles? How long did you bleed for?

How long did your internal piles last for when did Ur bleeding stop? Just wondering has anyone had internal piles after birth and how long did they last for?

With my first they lasted about 6 months (if not longer) if I remember correctly but all issues had gone completely once I stopped breastfeeding and hormones went back to normal. I have them now after having a second so we’ll see when they stop. You can get some meds possibly over the counter or doctors to help you. All the best 🙂

I suffered with piles the whole time between my first and second child (approx. 2 years) but they were only mild so I never saw anyone about them and it wasn’t consistently. My second pregnancy made them a lot worse but they pretty much disappeared after the second birth. Hope yours don’t last as long as mine. I would say if they’re bleeding to go see your GP though x

Only if I was suffering with constipation, but hardly ever really. They did become external once but I used the cream and that helped within a day or two.

If they were bleeding regularly I definitely would’ve looked to get medical advice just to be on the safe side x

Apparently bleeding with piles should heal on there own after a few days.... Which I'm confused about... Because it's been a month...

It was external, internal and bleeding after birth for a number of weeks now...GP recommended using a cream with steroids.

Oh ok my doctor has referred me for a Colonoscopy which scares me ..I did use the creams but didn't work... I did have a fit test and bloods which came back fine....the doc said not to worry because.y bloods and fit test came back fine.... And I'm still waiting for this colonoscopy which is taking ages..
