I'm 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant and it's my first pregnancy. I was spotting light pink blood in the morning. and had some lower abdominal cramps but they were not intense, and didn't last long .. idk if I should be worried about it. Pls help 🥺 this is my 1st pregnancy I'm a bit shook about this

Yeah I can imagine that is scary and whilst it’s common to have some bleeding in first trimester should contact your early pregnancy unit or midwife to get checked over with any bleeding in pregnancy xx

Hi, please contact your GP or midwife and ask them to refer you to an early pregnancy unit. Some of them may take self referrals as well. It could be nothing but still worth investigating. x

Hey 👋 Follow up story

I went to see my GP today and I was told that I'm experiencing "threatened pregnancy" while there are a wide range of factors that may cause this there's no specific reason why it might be happening.

I was therefore told to rest and avoid any strenuous activities for at least 1 week .. she did a scan, the baby is still small I couldn't see a thing but she assured me that it's there. So I was told to rest and hopefully I will become better and be out of the woods.

Some people bleed when pregnant but call your midwife or got to hospital to get checked ova hope everything okay xx
