supplements and thyroxine
Hi all. I wanted to ask advice as I know that my GP will just suggest a regular blood test to see if the supplements are affecting my thyroxine. I hope you don’t mind taking some time to check if these ingredients are ok with my thyroid meds. I have uploaded pics. I guess it’s the iodine in my perimenopausal

soy products
Hi, I’m just wondering if eating 1 alpro Greek style yogurt 150g pot a day, which is a fermented soy product would be harming me, I’ve read that in moderation it would be ok & then I’ve read somewhere else that I shouldn’t be eating anything containing soy as it also contains iodine, does anyone have

Keeping the balance of vitamines
This is the conclusion of an article that talks about keeping various vitamins in balance. As always, proper research should be done on amounts of any vitamin, what their cofactors are. Hypothyroid and sea moss.
Hello Good People. I was wondering has anyone taken sea moss with no adverse effect. I haven't post in awhile, but still trying to get optimal. iodine to take it or not?
could someone clear up the iodine issue with me? I was under the impression that it was bad to take iodine. Recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism..but not prescribed any meds as total result still seems to function...I have done some research and have seen that this disease can be because of a lack of iodine and selenium..at the time my b12 was low, but now ok with me buying b12 drops..methylcobalamin..has

With a keen background in nutrition I was determined to address it with this and avoid any thyroid drug interaction if possible. Here’s a herbal for the lungs
I have just come across this herbal formula which has many reviews on the benefits for chest congestion coughs, breathing problems. It has an extensive list of herbs in it. Some have been shown to be anti anxiety, anti oxidant, anti inflammatory inducing. Might be worth a shot if you have issues

Hi. I had a total thyroidectomy and radio iodine treatment in 2016 for Papillary Ca. I've been having annual monitoring since with no concerns. My most recent blood test shows normal thyroglobulin but raised thyroglobulin antibodies at 40. My latest is TSH 0.7 and T4 in normal range. What I want to know

should I do radioiodine therapy for hyperthyroid?
Hi Everyone, I’m debating whether to get radio-iodine therapy to treat my hyperthyroid. I have been diagnosed with hyperthyroid for 7 years now. I was very bad at taking any medicines and didn’t take anything for years. I don’t have any of the symptoms that is normally associated with hyperthyroid.

Iodine in pregnancy supplement
Hi All I am trying for a baby and I have been told to take folic acid amongst a few other vitamins. I have found a pregnancy vitamin supplement however it has 150mcg of Iodine in it. I understand Iodine is not good for those with hypothyroidism and we do not need it BUT my future baby will rely on
