Yes I visited the gym again today and one of the young women that works there said 'you're in here quite often aren't you'π
I burnt in total 567 calories on the treadmill and cross trainer, not including what I may have burnt using weights. I power walked uphill for 30 minutes totalling 2.5 miles, this included 5 minutes of jogging on the flat.
I had lunch a little while after getting home then I made a quinoa loaf (I purchased a coffee grinder so I could turn the quinoa into flour), I also added xanthan gum to hold the loaf together, looks like it's worked.
I then washed the floors as we are having our conservatory rebuilt and part of a wall knocked down hence washing the floors. I have to say though the builders built a screen before taking the wall down to save on dust and dirt, they did a brilliant job.
Don, I wish I had your amazing sense if humourπ. We all are good at different things, I do remember my grandad running across the road when he was 92, my mum, his daughter, was just like him.
You are ex services, you should be proud, I salute you.π
When they had the summer olympics in Goldcosst, Australia...... the torch was carried through the Tasmanian town where my brother lives..... as the oldest town resident, my brother got to carry the torch for 100 mtrs..... he was 90 at the time!π
Ha ha, love your sense of humour Dave, I suppose I have to see my hubby some timeπ
It certainly was.ππ
A girl's got to do what a girl's got to do Alicia, and I know your life is not complete without a good long ride, walk or a visit to the gym! ππ΄ββοΈποΈββοΈπͺ

Oh you're so right Sue, we certainly have to do what we need to do, my life wouldn't be the same without exercise. What was impressive though there was a female there yesterday that was in a wheelchair, how incredible is thatππ.
Thank you Bobby, I prefer the first quinoa loaf I made, I'll perfect it in the end. Thank you, it really is a passion, I feel so good afterwards.

Good morning that looks like a massive cake you certainly have earned it all that work out lol you don't look like you need to burn any more calories though you are very fit, but exercise sure is a mood lifter and so good to be toned and heart healthy. So good on you.I've never been one for gym just love cycling swimming or did and walking the old knees a bit dodgy though mam got a electric bike can use as ordinary too so still get exercise and when it's on you pedal a bit then it takes off 4 speeds very fast the pedals still go round so still the motions of riding a bike with no effort, it be so good for us to get further afield ππ΄it's surprising how much dust a wall knock out causes I recently had french doors fitted and even though outside wall still dust seemed to get everywhere I was cough cough thought had the virus just from popping in and doing jobs as I don't live there it's up for sale, enjoy your cake πποΈ

Totally agree, exercise is good for the body and mind, can't beat it.
Electric bikes are very good, you still get exercise whilst ensuring you dont overdo it with any injuries or joint problems. I do love my hybrid bike, it feels so good to get out.
There's been some dust on the floor but not too much as they've done an excellent job to protect our lounge.
Thank you the quinoa loaf isn't bad but I still prefer my sourdough bread.
Amazing! I am helping the local board of elections (laptop) with the general election, so until after 3 November. Then, depending upon the outcome, I might work toward citizenship in the Mother Country!
Greetings: Kudo's to you on your workout . I was suppose to buy a coffee grinder to make flour from my whole old fashioned oats . I have been using my small single serve smoothie blender, and I don't want to kill the motor . Thanks for the reminder Have a great day
