Great! You are an encouragement to all of the people who say I can't, but with some effort, and motivation they too can achieve great accomplishments. Excuses to be healthier are easy to make. I too would like to do another one of these scans. The last one I did was at a health fair 3 years ago, and I too was pleased.
There are a lot of people on here that would love to be able to do it I know but their health conditions won't let them, I really do feel for them but they stay so positiv, they are amazing. I know what you're saying though as there are others that makes excuses.
I'm going to do another scan in a few months and see what it comes out as.
I am sorry if you thought I was talking about the people on this site but most people, in general including our children who are experiencing a variety of health problems because of many different factors. My Oncology Dr's told me I could never push, lift or pull more than 10 lbs of weight on my arm which I had to have 12 lymph nodes surgically removed from . Years later I found a trainer online that gave great information, on how it could be done. I made my own lymph sleeve, and increased my hand weights beyond the 10 lbs weights, and the repetitions gradually. I then graduated to where I was doing 3 sets of 33 knee push ups. In addition I am now graduating to doing 10 plank style men's push ups with the sleeve on. My next goal after this is to be able to do pull ups again, on my pull up bar. I haven't used the pull up bar since the arm lymph node removals almost 13 years ago. I thank GOD for all of my accomplishments, and the fact that I have no swelling or pain in my arm. When some one tells me I can't do something I find a way to prove them wrong. It may take me longer. I may have to make some adjustments to do it slightly differently, but I can't is not an option. for me. I am a very motivated, goal orientated, and an independent individual. After this COVID health crisis is over, I will be looking to see if I can find information on how to become a certified trainer, and maybe eventually a Physical Therapist. We can all for the most part do more than we think we can with the right information, and motivation.
Well all I can say to that is wow, you are an inspiration. I'm just like you, if someone says you can't then I can, I'm very stubborn. You've been through a lot but handled it in such a positive way. Exercise is so good for mental health as well as if course your body.
Awesome.💪😊👍🌈
