How long did you stay Dallo? I have often taken a flask of coffee and stayed for a couple of hours watching a family on my local river. I love it.
I watch them from laying the eggs and only stayed approximately 30 mins at a time because I normally have my dog with me, she get's bored quickly

We saw one parent Swan in the local park recently with five mature signets. They appeared nervous so could not approach them sadly. There were quite a few large dogs around, not on leads, l think that this was the reason that they were not too happy.
