What's anyone done today

Well I hope no one has been blown away, we've had a very strong wind here all day, but it's stayed dry which is good. Walked to the garage, and got a few things, but with the wind being so strong I came straight back home, otherwise just getting rid of things that's been sitting around cluttering up the flat and pottering around, I'm up early tomorrow, which is unusual for me as I've got an amazon parcel coming so I should get some more cleaning done then

Hi JennyMary

Not blown away but something horribly stingy has blown into my left eye and has probably since come out with all the tearing up but it’s left a sensation of still being in my eye three hours later! I’ve made myself an eye patch and now I look like a pirate!! 🙈

From what you've written might be worth contacting an optician or hospital tomorrow if it's no better, just to be on the safe side

I went out for a walk today to a sea side town. Nearly got blown away and came home again 😀

We have entered a scarecrow competition and we have been making a scarecrow this afternoon. The competition is next weekend. I’ve never done it before but Phil has so I let him take the reins!

Then I came on HU for 20 mins and that was about 2 hours ago and I’m still here now!,😂

Sounds like fun!

It’s been breezy but not too bad here, I went for a walk first thing thinking it would be quiet, I saw quite a few joggers who jogged past me keeping a safe distance. It’s really rained here this afternoon and now the sun is out again!

Had a windy walk this afternoon, future learn this morning, started reading a great book called remote control by Andy mc nab which I am really enjoying so far and listened to music as well.

Hi Jennymary, It was windy here too today, but has now died down and the two trees outside my window aren't stirring at all. I took delivery of a couple of Amazon parcels too, but they came in two deliveries to the annoyance of the delivery guy, but nothing I could have done about it. It was down to Amazon. Hope yours comes as expected.

It's very satisfying having a good old clear-out isn't it? So today was really productive for you.

Take care and have a good evening.🙏

Hi Jennymary, glad you got out and yes it was a very strong wind here as well but at least dry and bright, it was good to see the sun.

Well done on sorting out, always feels good to do that.

We did the housework today, I put two loads of washing out, cleaned the fridge, which I've been meaning to do the past couple of weeks, I went on the computer and then phoned a friend I haven't spoken to in a very long time.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Alicia😊🌈

Nobody really talks about this but, I struggle with these covid numbers and watching them. Physically going to sites and watching these "charts".

So today, I am working on limiting my covid info exposure!

That sounds like a really good plan, although it's everywhere you look you have to try and not take any notice of the charts etc

Hi Jennymary, I am so late catching up on post's today you will probably be in bed dreaming of your parcel being delivered in the morning, I hope it's something nice. My Granddaughter stayed over last night and we had the grandest of times. The fairy duvet I bought for her was a big success. They do take all your energy but it's worth every minute. We went out for a few hours today, it was very windy but stayed dry. We watched the waves along the prom. It is such a treat when she stays over, she is very entertaining and such a good child. Anyway, hope you have a lovely day tomorrow. 😊🌸

Hi Jennymary, today here it rained most of the day so no walk for me. Instead I made a chocolate Madeira cake, I prefer a lemon one but my daughter asked to me try a choc one to make for my grandsons birthday. It was lovely but think I prefer a normal one and think my grandson would too. As my hubby doesn’t eat cake, I’m going to have to eat it myself. 😄, mite try and freeze some of it, choc cake for breakfast perhaps for me, lunch and tea lol. Take care everyone x
