What's anyone done today

Didn't really fancy doing day to day housework so, sorry about this, I've been decluttering/tidying up, took everything out of one wardrobe, cleaned it left the doors open to air it, then when putting everything back found a few more things for the clothes bank, I've also been through one shelf in my cleaning cupboard and got rid of a few things, there's still parts of the flat which don't get cleaned as often as they should so may tackle those next week

I love decluttering it makes me feel so good 🌹

Decluttering is so good for you, I feel so much better when I've done it so well done.

I met a friend for coffee, I rode on my bike to see her and then made some no bake bars this afternoon.

Hope you feel better soon x

Hi Jennymary, well you can spend your day doing what you want to do. You don't have to do anything 'worthy' if you don't feel like it. I'm sure it's a great feeling as you get through your decluttering. It must be lovely to be a free agent and discard whatever you like. There's a whole process in this household, as there often is with couples, as one man's junk is another's treasure! Downright cunning's involved sometimes to get rid of things 😀

I'd planned to go out for a little bit and enjoy some sunshine, but I got bogged down in some online admin this morning and before I knew it, it was time to prepare and serve 'dinner' which is always so early when my husband's working. Maybe I'll be luckier tomorrow. Enjoy your evening! 👍

My friend said to me yesterday how if I really didn't want to do something then not to do it!

Too right it call for cunning! I have to hide anything I'm getting rid of, not that he touches or uses anything other than the remote control!! Been hiding things and getting rid for years. I think I'm a master at it now😉case of having to be isn't it. Don't get me started on "early dinner".

I am decluttering, with two Siamesse cats and a husband in stage 2 of CLL. Diagnosed 3/2018.

I know this is very hard for every single one of us, but I am turning my attitude my positive self, because there is so much negative out there, that it affects me.

There is an online self psychology place it is like talkspace that has been free throughout the covid epidemic.

My mother and father passed away as recent as January, and rather than be sad, I have decided that I am joyful for all the years 93 that both of them gave to their children.

I also reversed my CAREER 18 years ago due to my mother falling ill to Alzheimer's, and then my father fell ill to Lewy body Dementia, and primary progressive aphasia, then the last two weeks of his life parkinsons.

I am so blessed because I am in the health care field, and I spent my father's last week on this earth 24/7 with him, and it was the best moments in January, any January ever.

Primary progressive aphasia is a neurology disease, and I could communicate with him.

He said after laying there for 12 days with out food, he said clear as day. "I am going to go now, you know I love you so much, and thank you for the 13 years of working full time and 3/4 time for your mother and I. He closed his eyes, and that was pure joy.

Every day we have a choice when we wake up. I always was so grumpy as a morning person, but I am changing, because there is such a beautiful sunrise and sun set.

I hope everyone has a good day today!

Debbie

We have an extremely spoilt ginger tabby called baby who is 16!

Today I have applied for 4 jobs, had a zoom pizza party as planned with my friends earlier on, had my usual walk and watched some bond films.

Yesterday I visited Walmer Castle Gardens with one of my friends. We had to pre-book, wear masks in the car and drive with open windows, there was hand sanitiser on arrival etc. They’d moved the entrance and the disabled parking which was not well signposted and initially a bit confusing, so while not quite a slice of normality, the weather was better than forecast and we had a nice time, which we finished off with a slice of cake each, sitting in the castle’s kitchen garden.

Was in so much pain when I got home I had to rest, so didn’t get much else done but definitely worth it. Today I plan to finish sewing a teddy bear and get a few chores done. If my back lets me, I’ll have a little walk around the estate later 🤞

Had a very odd experience yesterday. Lady downstairs husband is very ill. She has been desperate for hugs so invested 5.99 in a large mattress cover!! Funny feeling being hugged by a mattress cover. 🙄🤣xx

One good thing about Housework; It's amazingly patient!
