I walk past this tree almost every day - but, in the evening light, I thought it looked great.
I drove an 80-mile round trip today, using my trailer to collect a bed for a neighbour (he paid for the fuel etc.)... and when I got back I needed to get the stiffness out of my legs, and it was not desperately hot, so I went for a walk.
Edit - I have played about with the "keystone correction" and replaced the photo.

When I was young my father used to say we don't look upwards enough and tend to Look at the ground when walking along.
On one of our walks in a local woodland he pointed upwards, saying "Look at that magnificent tree, its an oak and is about 300 years old". He then told me about how forests of trees were cut down to make the ships to fight the wars of long ago. . I learnt such a lot about nature and history from my dad and he was the one who inspired my love of trees and history from then up until the present day.
Your lovely photo brought back some lovely memories of times spent with my dad. Thank you.
Often wonder why they planted Scots Pine one either side of their gates in old English Houses, quite a lot down the south of England. It was also traditional to plant a Walnut Tree in the rear of their gardens.
