I went out on a walk today as it was far too hot for cycling. I walked through my favourite woods, I've missed that walk since injuring my foot. It hurt a bit when I finished so a little way to go yet before it's completely better.
It was very hot today, the air felt heavy and the sun was very hot hence choosing a woodland walk.
This is the first set of photos which I hope you enjoy. I walked 19,303 steps.
Stay safe and well.

This is beautiful, thank you for sharing. All my love Lynne xxxx β€οΈπ€ππ
Lovely photos cf, the grass on a couple of them looks as if it is beginning to suffer but hopefully, after the next few days it will be greening up again. Beautiful horse. Thanks for sharing. Glad you walked instead of riding today. Very wise. x
What's the weather been like where you are? Some people are saying that it's been hotter today than yesterday. Here it's been muggy almost like we need a thunderstorm. xx
Yes it seems that quite a lot of people have had storms but there are still some that haven't. Our British weather at it's best, we haven't a clue what it's doing ha ha xx
Hello, all that open space and not a sole in sight, beautiful. Why would anyone want to grapple with hundreds of people on a beach in Bournemouth, risking their health , plus the traffic cues to get there never ceases to amaze me. Each to their own I guess. Have a nice day . Keep the pictures coming I enjoy.
Thank you and it was absolute bliss, as you say not a soul in sight. I only saw people when I was walking on any roads apart from one couple by a gate but they were the only ones.
Beaches, even though I live on the coast, don't appeal to me, I can think of nothing worse than lazing on the sand.
Thank you. Sadly none today but hopefully more when the weather clears up again.πππ
Yes a complete change in the weather but sounds like it will be a passing change , so i look forward to your future pictures. Stay safe and happy walking.xx
Yes it really is but I will definitely be out there again, possibly tomorrow for a walk so there will be more pictures. Don't think it'll be the bike as I think it's still quite windy tomorrow and I'm not keen on being on my bike when it's windy. xx
Very lovely Alicia, and glad you decided to take a walk and not ride in that heat! Take care with that foot though! Love the photo with the little bridge and of course the horses! ππ

Thank you Hidden , it was far too hot for a ride, the woods were lovely.
I will thank you, it's taking longer than expected or is that me being impatient π.
Yes it's lovely by the bridge and of course I couldn't miss the horse, it's a stable just 5 minutes up the road from me.
