What's anyone done today

NHS tech sent an email this morning and essentially the app isn't compatible with my device, so I've had to resort back to using Boots, this time prescription being sent to a branch close to where my sister works, she'll collect from there and bring it over. Other than that did my reading group and just pottered around, too hot to do anything else

I struggle to cope with a demanding Mother

She lives overseas and all her problems she puts on me

I am finding this very tiresome and it is impacting on my ability to obtain a Diploma and find employment

Hi Jennymary ,

It's a shame that the app won't work for your phone, but it's good to know that you got a note from the company explaining the reasons. I always like getting messages with reasons why something doesn't do what it's suppose to-- and know it's not just me who has the issue.

Glad to know that your sister can pick up your medication and bring it to you after she gets off from working.

My day has been a little busy, but the good kind of busy. I had breakfast and lunch, did some replies/messages on and off HU, did some editing here and there, did a rough draft of what the July book posting will be looking like for the next few days, texted with friends, saw what the new computer speakers look like and found that they work really well. I plan to do some reading later today, get ready for dinner, watch TV, work on the word scramble puzzles for the next day and keep cool from the hot temps..:-)

Have a wonderful evening now and stay safe, Jenny! :-)

Finished off my London's child book which I enjoyed, changed the bed sheets, applied for some jobs, had a short walk out as it was boiling hot and listened to music.

Oh Jennymary, Technology never turns out to be simple does it. That's a bit of a pest, but at least you have a solution. I agree it's been far too hot to attempt anything much today and I've just been here, wilting for the whole day. We had leftovers for dinner and neither of us were hungry anyway! Hope it cools down a bit by bedtime. Have a good evening and try to keep cool! 🙏

Hi Jennymary, well at least you know now and won't waste any more time on the app so look at it as a positive. It is also good your sister can get your prescription. I am the same I am good for nothing in this hot weather. I started another picture earlier so it is keeping my mind off the fact that I am melting. If only the climate had air conditioning installed we would be laughing. Have a good evening, keep well hydrated. 🌼🌞

I went out this afternoon for a walk and cut it short as it was so hot outside!

I'm pleased you at least know why you can't use the app. It certainly was a very hot day, ideal for pottering around.

I baked my bread dough, we saw a friend in our back garden for coffee, then I had lunch, made some no bake bars and then went out for a walk.

How you enjoy the rest of your evening.

Alicia xx🌈🙏

Because at last we had the nice weather back yesterday, hubby and I went out a little walk through our very small village, got rolls then hubby went into chemist, the ladies who work there are really nice, when they heard I was waiting outside, one of them came out to say hello, it was great chatting to a real person again, met other people and chatted again (2 metre distance) it really made my day. Came home and made a Victoria sponge, it was a quick day for once. In Scotland and still shielding till end of July, but so glad we can go out a walk again.

Didn’t get much done yesterday as it was so hot! Did make a panda arm, and walk the perimeter of the estate around sunset. I’ve completed my exercise target for this week before the weekend so any extra I manage now will be a bonus - just wish it could get a little easier and less painful to do but hopefully that might come with time 🤞

Well done on reaching your target, and as you say anymore exercise is a bonus, are you going to set a slightly higher target for next week or keep as you are

Thank you, I have thought about upping my target from three to four days a week, I’m not sure I can increase the distance yet, I think a lot will depend on the weather as I don’t do well in the heat and I have a lot of health issues so I don’t want to push things too far.

Far too hot to do anything really. I don't suppose we should complain. Sitting outside reading is better than watching tele indoors while it rains.

I'm so pleased I order my prescriptions on line from Drs,goes straight to pharmacy in same building and gets delivered to me 2 days later.

I woke up with no voice yesterday due to high pollen count felt rough again to pollen count/ hay fever/asthma combo so didn't go out till had cooled down at 8pm to walk Archie. A neighbour took him in morning for me.

So I had a productive day cardmaking
