Well today I've had one of those days where I've got nothing to show for what I've done. I did my Zoom reading group this morning, and I did a bit of reading which I haven't done for a few weeks, Tuesday I'd booked an Iceland shop to come between 3-5.00pm, as I'm in a first floor flat, I wil always look out when I've got a food delivery coming, so I started looking out just after 3.00, he arrived just after 5. 00, but I had received a text saying he was running late, so I've managed to get my frozen stuff put away, I'll sort the dry stuff tomorrow.
Yesterday I had an unexpected phone call and today I had another one, from the support group set up by the council, I think, to help those shielding, I said I didn't get a letter until April only to be told that some letters are still being sent out. If these things run in threes I wonder who my unexpected phone call tomorrow will be from
I applied for 6 jobs today, went for my daily walk in the park and did 7 miles which I was pleased with, went on future learn which I enjoyed and started a new book called truly madly guilty by Lianne Moriarty which I am enjoying some far.
Good news the ice cream van is now back at the local park but I didn't buy an ice cream today because I was having lunch after my walk as not to spoil my lunch.
Fingers crossed you'll get some interviews from the jobs you've applied for today
Nice to hear you sounding so upbeat and positive. Hopefully tomorrow will be another good day for you.
Good luck with the applications
Thanks. Been busy this morning as well doing washing and applied for a couple more jobs I was interested in, carried on with my book and then went for a 4 mile walk over lunchtime which I enjoyed as it breaks the day up nicely.
A productive day then
