What's anyone done today

Haven't even had an acknowledgment of yesterday morning's email I sent. Haven't done much today, but have just walked up to tesco for a couple of things, posting a birthday card on the way, no rain here at the moment but think it's going to pour down at some point in the next couple of days which was another reason for going out

Hello, did you honestly expect a reply.. so frustrating for you, hope you have enough meds in and hope you get your meds sorted soon. so a walk out well done, i managed about 30 mins walk via our local Co-op. then got the washing in all nice and dry, felt a couple of spots of rain, so could get a wet night. take care, x

Maybe not a reply, but I've not even had an acknowledgement, I've got enough meds for the next week, despite originally ordering them 4 April as I knew it would take longer than usual

hope you get it sorted in time, i have been ordering mine a week early just in case. so far so good. but you don't need extra hassle. our daughter did some shopping for us today, we went over to collect -just pull up outside and she puts it all into the boot. she went to the bakery in town which is open mornings, so got fresh loaf, and some lardy cake- lovely. feel really spoilt, we have said we will all go out for coffee and cakes when allowed.

take care. if you live anywhere near me, we wiil take you as well x

Hi

How are you feeling today? I'm sorry I didn't reply over weekend . Anyway, I'm glad you have been able to have a walk. Take care and stay safe. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx 😘♥️🌻🌹

Cycled, went to shops, cut grass, will go for a sneaky walk shortly, then do some exercise in the house.

It's a bit dull here and rain is on the way I think.

Stay safe 🌈

Hi Jennymary ,

I'm very sorry to hear that you still haven't heard from anyone dealing with your medications and/or the e-mail you had sent. The only thing that I can say about this is, you did what you were suppose to and I'm proud of you for doing it. It's now up to the doctor and the Pharmacy to do their job. When you get anything from either place, please let us know what they tell you.

As for my day so far, it's been a cloudy/sunny day. Was really busy with e-mails on and off HU, taking care of replies, cheering up a friend, had breakfast and lunch, texted with my brother about gifts for his wife and kids. He also asked me what I had wanted for my upcoming birthday for the next few weeks in May. Later, I plan to do some reading before and after dinner, create Word Scramble Puzzles, post my book posting for Tuesday morning and then have a bedtime snack around 9:30 tonight.

Well, this is all for right now. Have a wonderful evening, Jenny. :-)

How irritating for you Jennymary. Sometimes doing things online works out well, but so often emails are easy to ignore. Online customer service is often a disaster too. I'm glad you passed the day OK. The weather has definitely been a bit more 'iffy' today, so I'm glad you were able to get out to post your card and that you managed some shopping.

I reneged on my promise to walk this morning as rain looked imminent. It brightened later but then the area was too busy to go out, so we'll try again tomorrow morning and get up earlier. I've been trying to organise some digital photos on my phone today and as with your physical ones, I've been doing some weeding out. Just about to serve dinner now, and then a book or some TV this evening I think. It depends what's on. Take care and keep working away on your medication problem even though it's so frustrating and irritating.

Sorry you have had no response, I think for Boots not to sort these issues out for people when they know it is a great cause of stress to the individual is very shocking. I've been in the spare room painting. On the finishing run now. Going to watch a film later. Have video called the family. Hope you are having a pleasant evening. xx

Job hunting first thing, then a walk to the park, watched star wars this afternoon and went on future learn and watched some videos on you tube and had a chat to a friend on the phone as well.

Which Star Wars movie did you see? I have a friend who loves watching Star Wars and has some of the books. :-)

That's good. I hope you enjoyed watching it. :-)

Hi Jennymary

They could have least had the decency to reply to you. I really hope you have enough for now. Have you contacted your doctor again to inform him about the difficulty you're having?

I'm glad you managed to get out, forecast for rest of this week isn't good where I am which I think is pretty much the same anywhere.

I've been out on my bike again today, spoken to my daughter and was on the computer this afternoon.

Really hope you get somewhere with your meds.

Take care x

Same as ever, marooned in the house, not able to go out. Was in the past[ 6weeks ago] a member of a walking group with a good social circle but now isolated.

Behind my garden is an old closed roman road which is extensively used by cyclists, horse riders, joggers, walkers, dog walkers and i can hear laughter and conversation drift over my fence, so i don't feel totally cut off, just not able to join in.

Am appreciating birdsong, plants bursting into flower and sun on my face, maybe not this week however,

Am singing my way through Les Mis at the moment, there was a castle in my dreams,,,, if you know it...

Take care, Sopsx

Hi Sops

Get yourself some walking poles , get over the fence and have a crack at Nordic walking. If there are plenty of people about you should be safe and you will be able to smile and practice wishing everyone a cheery 'Good morning'. It really annoys some people - just remember to take your phone.

Very temping but clinically vulnerable so forced to isolate currently.

Have ordered some new walking trousers so will hopefully be walking very soon.

Have not tried poles, my friend was a demonstrator for these on local TV when I first heard of them, would they be good for me to get, appreciate you getting in touch,

Sops x

I find them useful, instant 4 wheel drive for walkers and very useful if you want to lean on them and look wise and far sighted. while you have a blow. See if you can borrow a pair and have a go?
