What's anyone done today

Think the stress of the last few days have caught up with me today. Shedding should be finished tonight or tomorrow. Sent email to Boots stating all the problems I've been having and how much phone credit its taken, I'm pay as you go, I included mine and my GP phone numbers and email address, and asked Boots to deal with GP as I'm fed up bouncing between the 2, but, hopefully, the best thing I attached to it was a picture of my Patient Access page where they'll see my name, the meds I ordered and the fact they were issued 16 April.

Also sent an email to a lady who runs one of the U3A groups I go to. Last night spoke to a friend who said maybe contact my MP about Boots.

I'm also looking forward to visiting the Art Exhibition to see all the fantastic pictures you've all done, problem is there a Gallery big enough

I think contacting your MP is a great idea. Good luck. I've managed two and a half hours' gardening. The most I've been able to do in a while including some heavy work. Planning an evening of knitting, spot of tv, some reading and something I fancy on the radio too. I enjoy the art posts too as I can't draw for toffee 😁

Rain is forecast (gardens need it) so I mowed my lawn.

Then I walked 5km... I cracked my heel, and this is the first time I have walked 5km since.

Watched casino royale with Daniel Craig in it, finished off a book called sunshine at the comfort food cafe by Debbie Johnson, had a walk, had Sunday lunch roast beef dinner via zoom with my friends as we had a dinner on Friday night with zoom as well which was enjoyable and I also went on future learn as well.

Hi Jennymary ,

You did the right thing with sending the e-mail to Boots. Give them a few days to get back to you and see what they say. Like you had said, "let them both (Boots and doctors) work it out" and the entire issue should be taken care of soon.

It's great that you were able to get in touch with a friend to catch up with last night.

For my day, I had breakfast and lunch, did some reading (plan to do more before dinner and bedtime), sent some messages on and off HU, replied to some postings, video chatted with my Cousin for his birthday and listened to music.

Have a good evening, Jenny. :-)

Hi Jennymary

I've seen all of your posts and responded and I can see how much you have been struggling, it's hard enough getting meds sometimes but under this difficult times it's even harder. I really do feel for you as you need your medication and I do think it would be a very good idea to write to your MP as your medication should be easily sorted as you have all of the proof that's needed for the prescription, please post on here as to how you get on.

I've been out this afternoon for a walk/jog in the sun which was lovely and haven't actually done a lot else apart from I did play a game this morning with hubby called Scattergories.

Please take care and we are all here to listen, you are not alone.

Stay safe.

Alicia :)

Hi Jennymary. I think it is a good idea to contact your MP. Usually they can be of great assistance in matters of this nature and he is your elected MP, working for you, remember that. Wouldn't it be great to see an exhibition of Art done on here after it's all over. It would be an historical bookmark in time to look back on in years to come. I've had a lazy day today. Pottered and took the dogs for a walk. xx

Hi Jennymary,

No denying that you've had a really rough week with one thing and another and all the admin you've had to do to get your medication is really outrageous. I'm not surprised it's all caught up with you a bit. But I see that you are displaying strength in getting to the bottom of this, and surely it will be sorted out soon. I really do think your pharmacy should be sorting this out with your GP without your having to get too involved. It's all so unsatisfactory. I hope it won't have to escalate to contacting your MP, but if you have to I'd definitely resort to it.

I've done absolutely nothing today.... and loved it! I did manage to get a meal together this evening, but otherwise I've just relaxed and not even looked for anything to do!

Take care Jennymary, and let us know how your fight for your medication goes.
