I posted earlier that GP surgery weren't much help, going to leave it until Thursday afternoon before ringing them again, emailed MP who wants my full address, it was sent by his assistant who finishes work at 3.00 so I'll reply this evening. I'm trying to console myself with the fact that pharmacy delays haven't been all over the media like online shopping was, so you never know.......

I did get a knock at the door at lunchtime, which turned out to be my food parcel which I only registered for on Saturday, i also had an email from Iceland, the frozen food company not the country, saying they've been notified that I'm on the vulnerable persons list so I can register for online priority shopping on Thursday.

Think I ought to do some housework tomorrow as I haven't done any for quite a few days now

Hi Jennymary ,

It's good to hear that you will be on the list for food service delivery/parcel. It's also good to hear that the MP asked for the home address. It's also good to see some progress is being made this week.

Today, I was woken up by my CGM's alarm going off at 4:03 am since my blood sugar was dropping. Did a blood test and needed to have a snack before going back to bed. Got back up at 6:30 and went to get breakfast. Got my day started and then went on the computer to do some e-mails, go on HU and do some replies/postings, and had lunch. I plan to do another few postings, change my old sensor and insert a new one, get ready for dinner and do more reading before dinner and bed tonight.

Hi Jennymary

I hope you get somewhere on Thursday and that your MP replies.

That was nice and quick with your food parcel and that you can have a priority slot with Iceland.

I did the housework this morning with hubby cleaned the oven, had a coffee and rang our youngest daughter, had lunch and then I cycled to the supermarket to pick up some kitchen scales I ordered, my other set broke last night.

Hi Jennymary. Well you've had a pretty fast response from your MP's office, so help may be forthcoming from that direction. Good news on the shopping front, and I hope that'll be helpful for you.

Today I received a call from my GP surgery, just to ask was I coping OK and did I have any problems that needed bringing to their attention like shopping problems or health concerns. I sort of appreciated it, but then thought about the many months pre-virus when it was impossible to get any help from that direction at all!

Today's been quiet and this morning's walk cancelled due to inclement weather, but I didn't really mind. I'm a fair weather walker and was happy to be indoors relaxing this morning and the afternoon was taken up with preparing an early meal as my husband is back into work tonight for his next four shifts.

Don't worry about your lack of housework Jennymary. It's the one thing that's always there waiting for us. It never goes away!

I'm glad you have contacted your MP Jennymary. I've almost finished the spare room now. often things take longer than I anticipate because of health issued but the end is near. I'm excited, my son has a 4 year old son and my daughter has a 4 year old daughter. So I'm trying to do it in colors that will be nice for a boy or a girl for when they come to stay again. I'm going to buy a new single bed. So I'll get Dinosaur cover's for when my grandson stays and Unicorn cover's for when my granddaughter stays. I bought this thing and you switch it on and it puts the constellations on the ceiling, it's cool, they will love it. Hope your evening is going well. xx
