In November my HbA1c was 47 , prediabetic I was told, but my GP was calm, saying steroids caused it and should go when you stop.... still, not ideal . On advice here on forum I reduced carbs ... not drastically but cut out most rice, potatoes, bread, pasta ....and this weeks blood test its 41. Whether mainly due to the carbs or also reduced pred I dont know, but I am very pleased! I was worrying theyd suggest medication ..... Thank you for good advice 😊

Wow that is an enormous drop. You are no longer pre diabetic, but normal.

Hi, I'm really pleased for you 🙂. I had HbA1c, among other BTs, done on Thursday. I'll be interested to know the results as I haven't had once since I was prescribed Pred last August
