First a BIG THANK YOU for all the advice and support. I felt you with me every step of the way. The catheterization showed no narrowing of the major cardiac arteries. But head cardiologist came and said all my symptoms were classic heart attack and clearly something was blocked...so i have a bucket full of pills and follow up appointments over the next 2 weeks...and forever.
I am so grateful to have got the early warning. If you have a severe chest, shoulder, arm, neck pain of sudden onset please don't ignore it..even if it passes quickly.
It feels nothing like pmr...it is sudden and grabs you in a moment and is very very painful. Mine was one sided.
Now home and sorting out all the tabs...and then plan a day's sleep and back to work! Doc said just got on with life as before.
Btw they gave an extra 5mg on my 2mg pred...and told me they had hydrocortisone if needed.
The care was wonderful...but hospital is still a den of tortures.. permanent bright lights, incessant beeping, waking you whenever you fall asleep, lousy food and all sorts of lurking pathogens.
Great to be home!
Hugs to everyone
