I did get up and set a spoon out thinking I'll be back out to take the meds and have the yogurt. I have an alarm set for 12am but I didn't even hear it go off that I remember! I took the 7:30am dose of the antibiotic but I've never missed a dose before so not sure what to do as far as the pred goes? I'm still pretty sleepy and feel I could easily go right back to sleep. Sorry if this is elsewhere on the site but I did a search and looked in the FAQ but no luck in finding anything.

Missed my dose of prednisone and the midnight dose of antibiotic!
Usual advice for any medication dose missed, is to take it as soon as you remember unless it is too close to the timing of the next one. ..So take it now..
plenty of related posts, but they don’t show until your posted yours….
OK I take mine at 11:00pm to midnight usually, it's almost 9am here. Should I take the full dose or half?
I see the other posts now. I'll be doing some reading. Thank you Dorset Lady! I hope you and your hubby are doing better!
If you want a good day, take full dose, if you are going to have a quiet day, half may suffice...but I would probably plump for full dose.
Think you must be mistaking me for MrsNails .. . I've been in remission from GCA for 6 years, and a widowed for 9 years...🌺
Oh my! Such a silly! thought you were having some other issue going on! Sorry for the mistake about hubby!😜😜🙄😢🌷
Not a problem 🌸don't worry..
Thank you for your quick response! I have taken the higher dose of the current taper! I would much rather have a good day than a quiet one! However, I may need a nap sometime today! Lol! Again so sorry for the mistake! I do feel like a cotton head!
Good..and please don't apologise.. himself would have appreciated the comments...😉
Everyone has done it at some point - but try not to miss the abx, they matter!
I only have 2 more doses of antibiotic left to take, not sure what I'll be doing after that. I see my GP on Wednesday so will get the lungs, heart and blood checked before getting the surgery. According to the Endo, it's the only way to get rid of the infection completely. The last time I had finished the antibiotic , the infection blister was nearly gone and less than 24 hours later it flared back up again. She ordered the 2nd dose and I am at the same point as before. It did drain on it's own this time but I feel as if I really needed 10 days not 7. I guess I'll wait to talk with my GP and see what he has to say. I'm sure it is going to take time to get the tests done to be sure I don't have any other issues going on before I have the surgery and have problems that land me in a hospital. I just hope this dose was strong enough to keep it down for longer than it did last time.
If it flared that quickly last time - it wasn't enough abx. Some doctors make the mistake of using too short a course thinking that is safer for resistance - in fact, it is what causes resistance. The bugs have got used to it - a few survived and lap it up next time round.
