I should have added my husband was admitted to hospital last week with side effects from his Keytruda, so it was a stressful few days, he's home and fine now, but it is an ongoing journey, with metastatic melanoma, brain tumour .

Oh Janis, this is so horrible for both of you. What's Keytruda ?

It is a biologic drug used in certain cancers including melanoma

keytruda is an immune therapy treatment, it works with the immune system as opposed to chemo which works against it. He is feeling so much better thank goodness, I'm sure the steroids are giving him a lift. the medical profession has had great results from keytruda treating melanoma and some other cancers, lung cancer and apparently it is very effective with breast cancer too.
